I started using the bitless bridle after I had an accident with my horse. After I fell he trod on the reins and gamboled over, cutting his mouth in the process. Although the physical injuries were relatively minor, the psychological ones were not and he became very difficult to put on the bridle. I decided to try a friend's bitless and he took to it straight away so I bought one of my own and have never looked back. He is so happy in it and I am so much happier riding in it as I've never felt comfortable with the idea of a bit. I have no control issues whatsoever and could not recommend this bridle enough to anyone, no matter what kind of riding you are doing.
