flexi-Girth is a revolutionary new girth design, developed by Flexi-Works Equine Ltd to provide maximum saddle stability whilst at the same time allowing the horse unrestricted freedom to breathe and therefore perform to the very best of its ability.

As riders ourselves we are very much aware of the importance of saddle stability and we also firmly believe that the horses comfort and ability to breathe freely are of paramount importance. With this in mind we developed flex-Girth with a central elasticated section.This flexes with the horse at the point where it's needed most, over his sternum and lungs, for maximum comfort and performance and also creates an even pull on either side of the saddle giving optimum saddle stability.

Research carried out in Australia in 2002 indicates that a horse can lose up to 20% of its performance ability due to girth restriction, so the performance benefits of flexi-Girth are clear and feedback from existing customers also confirms that horses are looser, supple & willing to perform and that young horses and those sensitive in the girth area, quickly & happily accept girthing up with flexi-Girth.

The same principles have been applied in the development of a range of flexi-Girth styles to suit all saddle types: General Purpose, Close Contact, Dressage & Treeless, with recent additions of flexi-Girth Western Cinch and flexi-Girth for racing saddles.

All versions of flexi-Girth effectively maintain saddle stability with minimum restriction, even when circumstances create the need for mounting from the ground. flexi-Girth is also anti-chafe, does not promote sweating and is uniquely available in a range of stunning colours including hi-vis yellow & pink.

We have had one of these girths (treeless version) on trial for several months now - we can honestly confirm that it 'does what it says on the tin'!!  Highly recommended - we are gradually changing all our girths over to flexi-Girth.
