Unfortunately these are the last of these taupe safety ropes - when they're gone, they're gone!

Some of our customers have asked for a  rope rein which is less bulky in the hand - and here it is; our very popular rope rein but in 10mm rope rather than 12mm. These rope reins are suitable to use with any bridle and are made from 10mm polyester double braid rope (soft, washable, easy to grip even when wet and will not stretch) with outer cover made from worsted polyester yarns, giving a softer 'feel' in the hands; due to the nature of this outer covering there may be some 'bobbling' of the rope over time.

If you are using a synthetic bridle we recommend these rope reins with leather safety linkage to give a 'breaking point' in case of accident - two pieces of rope joined by leather safety linkage and fitted with scissor clip each end to attach to the O rings of the crossover straps. Can also be used as a lead rope by unclipping from one O ring and clipping one end to both O rings at the end of the crossovers on your Bitless Bridle.

We have 9ft (ideal to use with the Bitless Bridle) in stock, but can supply any length made to order (please allow 7-10 days for delivery of special length reins). Colour taupe (hemp colour) as shown.  This colour rope rein looks particularly good with the Western-style bitless bridle (see pic).  Also available in black.

Our 10mm rope reins are specially made for us by Proclimber (renowned suppliers of ropes to the arborist industry; the owners also ride!) so you know that the work has been done by professional & fully qualified rope splicers who also understand horses! 

We are very sad to say that Proclimber will no longer be making these reins, so when these are gone, they're gone!
